I did this piece for a poster show in Alberta my friend Gabe put on recently. The theme of the show is “Where Are You From?” All of the artists involved were asked to make a piece that reflected their roots. So I focused on my love of adventure stories as a kid and what a huge impact they had on me. So I made up a hero named “Richard Fathom” and surrounded him with enemies that are trying to get their hands on the Stone Of Power!
I’ve been playing through Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box recently! It’s really fun. But I sort of feel like Layton is going to snap one day from all of Luke’s whining. Anyway it inspired me to do this drawing for some Photoshop practice!
My favourite song by the Beastie Boys is “Sure Shot”! But I like the video for “Intergalactic”,
so that’s what this drawing is based off.
I like Ludacris and this is a drawing of him inspired by the video for my favourite song “Get Back!”
