My pals and I were really excited for the latest Harry Potter movie so we all took turns drawing ourselves in which Hogwarts houses we think we would be sorted in. I put myself in Slytherin.

If any of you are My Little Pony fans, I hope you’ll consider submitting to this just for fun and not for profit Colouring Book Fanzine I am putting together! More info about it here.

I realized I never actually put up the piece I did for Captain Picard Day last month, so here it is!

Lastly, some sketcbook silliness involving more My Little Pony stuff. This is me imagining what the cast of the latest show would look like as human males.

Got a lot of other projects in the works, getting ready for FanExpo Toronto at the end of August, and I’m also working on a redesign of my website! Check back for more of all that business soon!

Since it’s summer, some pals and I have started up a weekly art challenge blog to keep us busy on our break from school. Here’s the first two drawings I’ve done for The Tangram Concern! Theme #1 was “Summer Fun” and Theme #2 was “OMG that dress”.

My first year of animation is over! Feels like it went by so fast. No time for a break though since I’m going to be at TCAF in two weeks and I need to get ready!

Been doing these warmup drawings inspired by Pokemon due to the release of Black & White! Usually I get bored with Pokemon games pretty quickly but this one has been really holding my attention. It’s so fun!

Canadian Cryptozoology

A relative of mine let me know about an upcoming public speaking engagement he was booked for at a local elementary school. He asked if I would do a few quick drawings for him to show while he talked to the children about Cryptozoology in Canada. Here they all are: The Hidebehind, Gaasyendietha, Waheela, Thunderbird, and Ogopogo!

So, to my nephew, best of luck with your public speaking assignment! I hope you and your classmates like the drawings!
