I did this piece for a poster show in Alberta my friend Gabe put on recently. The theme of the show is “Where Are You From?” All of the artists involved were asked to make a piece that reflected their roots. So I focused on my love of adventure stories as a kid and what a huge impact they had on me. So I made up a hero named “Richard Fathom” and surrounded him with enemies that are trying to get their hands on the Stone Of Power!

The clock face is acryla gouache on watercolour paper, the pendants are acryla gouache on wood, and the whole thing takes place on a modded Ikea clock.
