Starting off the new year right with a silly picture of myself! One of my goals for this 2012 is to participate in the 50/50 challenge to read 50 new books and watch 50 new movies before the year is over. I’d also like to do some kind of art relating to each! The very first movie I watched this year was the sixth One Piece movie ‘Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island’. I wanted to see it because I like some of the director’s other works, but I will admit I don’t know a ton about One Piece. I really enjoyed the movie though and would love to read the comics when I have time!I thought the character Chopper was really cute, he was definitely my favourite. So here’s a little acyla gouache painting of him.
