Works in progress

Here’s one of the things that I’ve been working on lately. This poseable pirate girl doll is 5 1/2 inches tall. I wish I made it bigger because it was really annoying to make such tiny clothing! I’ve used sculpey for the hands and face which are painted with acryla gouache. The body is made of tin foil and wire and the clothing various fabrics such as linen, silk, felt, wool, and leather. I’m working on an environment to put her in

I’m not finishing her boots since they were giving me trouble and I’m not intending for her feet to be seen in the final photos anyway. Plus it’s way easier to stand her up when I can pin her to the wood like that!
